Meet Ringo Class (#404430) Barn Name Rio Rio is a 16 year old 16hh 1500lb Black APHA Gelding. 80% of his line is Foundation Quarter Horse. Rio started his career as a champion head horse and won many jackpots in Saskatchewan, Canada. 10 years ago he was seen at a roping event and was bought by a family who were 3 day eventers. He spent a couple of years in full time training with Barb Crabo at Four Peaks Farm in Scottsdale, Az and performing on the 3-day eventing circle. |

| We have had Rio since March of 2013 and have beeen training with Beth Hitchens at Crazy Heart Ranch. Rio is an honest jumper and has been a safe horse for Ali to perfect her skills on. Ali has been showing Rio in Local Tucson Hunter Jumper Association Events and 4-H Advanced English Events. Ali and Rio won Reserve Champion for Mod/CH AA Hunt O/F Division 2’3″-2’6″ at the Tucson Hunter Jumper Association Show in October 2014 and have a shot at winning the Hunter Buckle in 4-H for the Intermediate 2’6″ Division. They have consistently placed 1st in their Hunter Hack, Hunt Seat Equitation (Over Fences) and Working Hunter classes. |
