Step 3 – Setting Up Your MLS Search
Home Buying Process with Lucy Barraza
In Step 3 of the Home Buying Process, we need to talk about setting up your Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Search Portal. With the search portal, we are able to look at properties at your convenience and I can even send you alerts when new properties that meet your criteria come on the market. Third party websites are a great way to get information, but they often show homes for sale that are already under contract and moving through the process of being sold. For this reason, once you get serious about finding a new Tucson home for sale, you’ll want to use local searches for their accuracy. In fact, this very site can be customized for my valued clients to offer only the MLS real estate listings that are pertinent to them.
As your real estate agent, I’m gonna set all of that up for you. Before I do, we’re going to talk about what’s important for you in your home buying decision. How many bedrooms, how many bathrooms, what area of town is important to live in (MLS Boundaries Map 2014)? Do you have a big family or would you prefer the security of a gated community? How much home would you like and what would you like to do in your new home? These are just a few of the things that will be talking about as we set up your custom MLS search.
Don’t get excited about properties you can’t have. Trust my customized Tucson MLS Search Portals to always show you the most current information about the properties that matter to you!
