4-H Horse Project Tucson
About The 4-H Horse Project in Tucson I lead a club in Tucson called Silver Spurs 4-H. We meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month on the Northwest side of Tucson. Most of our kids either own thier own horse or lease a horse however neither is required to be a member. There is alot of horse training and instruction in the 4-H Horse Project. You’ll learn all about horses, their body parts, how to handle horses, judge confirmation, the expense of owning and caring for a horse, riding and so much more. If you have a child who is horse crazy like mine, this is a great place to find out if they have the bug….BEFORE you make the investment of buying a horse. You’ll also be learning right along with your child! We have wonderful families involved who know little or nothing about horses so don’t be intimidated. This is where you come to learn and enjoy the horse experience with your child and with other like minded families. |
